I actually enjoy painting large pieces. But there are constraints, like carrying a large canvas in a car or SUV and of course many clients don’t have a large enough wall in their home or above their couch to hang such a dominate size. So instead of a framed piece, I have resorted to painting walls and even a few doors.
That phrase “Art, the elixir of life”, is of great value to me. Growing up surrounded with my parents artwork, made me appreciate its importance as a mind-alternating mechanism. In comparison, its like meditation, reading, gardening or prayer to many. The process of art and the contemplation of art has similar affects for me. When performing the art of creativity, I am lost in concentration. (more…)
